We are in the process of compiling a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). This page will grow as we add more to it and as we get new frequent questions!
We have split the FAQs into Payment (including VAT), Product / Fitting and Shipping to try and simplify your search. We hope this helps. You can still obviously contact us as normal!
Shipping FAQs
Q: I do not live in the UK. Do you ship orders overseas?
A: Yes, we ship orders worldwide.

Q: How much does shipping / post and packing to [my country] cost?
A: Please see the Post & Packing page of our website - there is a link near the top of each page of the site.

Q: Do you send overseas orders by Air Mail?
A: Yes, we send all overseas orders by recorded air mail.
Product / Fitting FAQs
Q: Do you provide a fitting service?
A: Yes, we can fit the items to your vehicle at a competitive price. Please contact us for a quotation.

Q: I hear the Intravee II is going out of production. Is this true?
A: No! It is not going out of production! We do get 'surges' of orders occasionally and sometimes for a short while we may be out of stock but this does not mean it is going out of production!

Q: I hear the Alpine KCA-420i (that I need to go with an Intravee II) is no longer in production. Is this true?
A: No. A lot of in car audio retailers have stopped selling it (because Alpine head units no longer use the AiNET networking protocol) but we can still get the KCA-420i units (brand new, supplied by Alpine). Alpine themselves here in the UK did have a stock issue this year (2010) but we have not been informed that it is going out of production and are getting regular deliveries again.

Q: I have a BMW X5 E53. I purchased a TV In Motion lead (and / or an AV Input/Output lead) and it does not fit the TV module in my X5.
A: This may be because you are looking at your radio module and not your TV Module. As you look into your X5 from the back looking towards the front, the TV Module is the silver box to the right of the battery. If you are looking at the silver box between your legs and the battery - you are looking at your radio module.

Q: Will you fit items I have bought elsewhere?
A: We can often do this but please contact us to check.

Q: I have a Rover 75 / MG ZT. Can I use the BMW TV In Motion lead?
A: Unfortunately not. Rover/MG added some extra 'traps' to stop your TV working while the car is moving, so you do need the one for the Rover / MG.

Q: I have a Range Rover (before the touch screen nav). Can I use the BMW Basic TV In Motion lead?
A: Unfortunately not. Land Rover added some extra 'traps' to stop your TV working while the car is moving, so you do need the Advanced TV In Motion lead for the Range Rover.
Payment FAQs
Q: Do I have to have a PayPal account to pay for an order?
A: No, you can pay by debit or credit card via WorldPay or PayPal. Even if you do have a PayPal account you don't need to use it - when you get to the page asking for a PayPal login and password, look to the left where you can click on "continue without logging in".

Q: Can I pay by bank transfer?
A: Yes, please contact us for details or see our Ts & Cs page.

Q: How can I pay?
A: We can accept payment by debit or credit card, via WorldPay or PayPal, bank transfer or you can pay using your PayPal account.

Q: Do I still have to pay VAT as I live outside the UK?
A: No. VAT will be removed / deducted during the Checkout process if you are outside the European Union (EU).

Q: Can I collect the items I want to order and pay by cash?
A: This may be possible but we do not have a shop or premises (which is why our prices are low!). We may be able to arrange this in certain circumstances - please contact us.

Q: Can you give any discount off the price / what is your best price?
A: Our best price is the price you see on the website - our prices are already low and extremely competitive. If you find the exact same product elsewhere at a bonafide business organisation (not on eBay) please let us know (and provide proof) and we will try (we cannot promise!) to match or beat their price.
